There are many bars on the Oxford Rd strip near the club. We would recommend you avoid Portland St and Peter St bars as they have a certain reputation for trouble (with the exception of Fab Cafe - a haven of retro scifi madness). Oxford Rd recommended bars include Temple of Convenience (tiny but has a great selection of imported lagers and is opposite the club ), The Cornerhouse (independent cinema and gallery), Revolution (more flavours of vodka than you can shake a small tree at). If you want something on a traditional pub tip try The Salutation on Higher Chatham St (behind the MMU at All Saints Park).
